here Kruschev's Secret Speech, is insight about the truth of Stalin's ferocity during his rein. Kruschev understnad that The Soviet Union cannot survive with another leader like Stalin. He even used the word "Despot" to describe him and goes on to talk about his brutality, abuse of power and his intolerable personality towards the opposing factors. This secret anti Stalin speech praises the work of Lenin during the Bolshevik Revolution and bashes the work of Stalin from the 1930's until his death. This is strange to come from Kruschev as he was one of Stalin's right hand men. Kruschev also goes into detail about Stalin's use of spying and his punishment for anyone who he even suspected of being an anticommunist or even having a different viewpoint than him. Stalin's formed of communism swayed from the true form of communism becuase he had social classes. It was the gov't and everyone affiliated with Stalin and then everyone else which was much different from true communism. Stalin truley ruled with fear and an iron first and Kruzchev realized his wrongdoings and tried to not make the same mistakes.

Like the CHLLMAN said this is a very interesting document. It contributed to the idea behind Kruschev and de-stalinization. He went to an extreme to do right and in someways a political reform of Russia from the inside out. After his death tho they tried to reinstate hardline Soviet like Dropoff and Trebago (spelling?) but their shortterms in office due to death showed the end of the Stalinist and Stalin form of Communist Leaders. Before them Kruschev tried to enstate a new type of gov't unlike the old.
