This cartoon was very interesting... The propaganda was so obvious, i hope it was supposed to be! But this cartoon is very effective I'm sure, it was just like the Regan speech i just read. First of all, almost everyone in our country knows the story of the three pigs, so almost everyone can relate to the portrayal of Hitler as the big bad wolf. It really demonstrates how desperate the world was for control during this time, and how the U.S., certainly like the rest of the countries involved, desired for people to have a common opinion, an opinion of support, almost from birth.
I found it funny how obvious they made the wolf appear to be Hitler, even stating it in the beginning, and in no way were they trying to just hint at. It showed the true hatred of people towards Hitler and his policies and actions in WWII. Good cartoon, I enjoyed it.. it definately gets its point across!
Hitler = Big Bad Wolf... not much more that can be said. ALot of propoganda mixed with tons of anti german attaks. Overall the relation between the three little pigs and the big bad wolf and WWII is kind of a streach it works in many ways. It also goes to show that when you educate the youth of America into thinking that Germany is evil, it makes fighting them much easier.
This cartoon = two thumbs up! The makers of this cartoon made it clear that they hated Hitler. Adolf = A dog because that man just won't listen! You can not trust him and you'll never know when he will bite you right in the butt. The wolf should have been a dog however i did like the wolf to go along with the three little pigs. Propaganda up the ying yang in this cartoon. I really enjoyed it and i recommend to watch this!
The cartoon was a satirical look at the overall veiw of hitler. It did a good job of using jokes and actually information to make him look like a "tool". The big bad wolf got his butt kick by the three pigs and it was an good spin off of the childhood fable we've all heard. I think it was a good way to combine a thing of common knowledge such as the tale of the three little pigs and the propoganda of the Anit-Hitler veiw. I liked it and enjoyed the random german quotes that the Big Bad wolf used such as "mien kampf" twas hilarious and a good way to use propoganda on an easy level. Nice Find LAMBO!
