This article gives alot of key insights into the the elements that took place during the Treaty of Versailles. I am very surprised that the Allied Powers after the war, allowed such a bombardment of restrictions and prohibitations on Germany. This treaty most evidentally set the stage for another war with Germany. Clemenceau took full advantage of dismantleing the German economy and removed all sources that Germany had to create industry. They even lost all overseas property that they had previously gained from Imperialism and Colonization.
